Last Plantings

Well, the last of the big plantings anyway! We did two more amaranth circles in the front yard, planted a small patch of tromboncino squash under the kiwi trellis (there should be enough light there for now!), put in some miscellaneous seedling gifts we received (jalapeño, cherry tomato, eggplant), planted six blueberry bushes (two each of Austin, Climax, and Tiftblu), replaced two berries that had died in the freeze, and replaced the dead pomegranate with two new ones (Angel Red and Wonderful). We also removed a bunch of boxwood by the blueberries. It makes for a much cleaner line in the front yard. We would love to get the rest of it pulled this week. We have room for three more blueberry bushes, so we're hoping to get those in this week too. Lastly, I sprinkled cosmos seeds in some of the squash beds, and then got the whole thing watered. Now we've really got to switch gears and get ready for Passover which is nearly upon us!
